This is also one of the Swarovski flowers. It has a darker pink color than the other pink flower. I like both :)

Swarovski flower

November 4, 2009

One night I was wondering what I should make. Since I just got my hands on my last order of jewelery making things, I went through my new stuff and started admiring the Swarovski flowers I had bought. They came in different colors and I felt like doing something simple and sweet with them.

This is one of them, in pale pink. Simple and sweet :)

“Thank you”

November 4, 2009

Tatjana was kind enough to do me a favor and as a “Thank you” I gave her this sweet Swarovski  flower.

It´s clear like Rock crystal. My older son chose this shape when I was wondering what kind of shape I should buy.

Helga – name necklace

October 25, 2009

My lovely mother in law asked me to make her a name necklace and that I could easily do. We share the same first name and I really enjoyed making that necklace. To make my own name was fun and I know I will enjoy seeing her wearing it.

I actually enjoy seeing all of my things on their owners. I think it has something to do with the feeling of being happy with the idea that other people enjoy the things I make just as I enjoy making them.

Maren – name necklace

October 25, 2009

My lovely coworker Gyða asked me to make a name necklace for her daughter´s birthday. Ofcourse I could and this is what her name, Maren, looks like in silver:

I think the name looks great and I love how the letter M looks like and also the flow of the letters in the name!

Guðrún – name necklace

October 25, 2009

Bryndís María asked me to make a name necklace for her daughter, Guðrún. I know Bryndís María through my work where she used to work before I came on board. I find it incredibly sweet that her daughter has the name Guðrún because a friend we both know has that name and many of my coworkers and ex coworkers have that name too (people Bryndís María has worked with too). Her daughter is named after her grandmother but Bryndís María has been surrounded by lovely ladies with that name and I love the thought of her daughter having the same name as all of those great ladies :-)

This necklace is meant to be a Xmas present for the little girl and I hope she will enjoy it.

Amelía – name necklace

October 25, 2009

My lovely ex coworker Aiste had a daughter at the beginning of this year. Aiste owns a necklace made by me and she wanted her daughter to have a similar one. So I made her this one.It has the same kind of A as Aiste´s necklace.

I think it´s sweet that mother and daughter have both same kind of name necklaces :-)
